Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VidSlop and related websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by VidSlop ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Agreement

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and us. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to the organization.

We may offer additional guidelines or policies (for example, community rules or product-specific help pages). Those are incorporated by reference where we say they apply.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use online services) to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or if we have previously suspended or terminated your account for violations.

3. The Service

VidSlop is an AI livestream platform. Users can browse public rooms, watch AI-generated video clips, and—when signed in—spend credits to send chat prompts that influence what happens in a room. Creators can set up rooms with a starting image and character description, choose public or unlisted visibility, and manage their streams from an account dashboard.

The Service relies on automated systems and third-party providers for video generation, payments, storage, and moderation. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific generation quality, or that any room will remain online.

4. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us promptly of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You may sign up with email and password or through supported OAuth providers (such as Google). We may refuse registration, reclaim usernames, or require verification where we reasonably believe it is necessary for security or compliance.

5. Credits & payments

Certain actions—such as sending a chat prompt in a room—cost credits. At the time of writing, each chat message costs 2 credits. We may change credit pricing or consumption rates with reasonable notice where practicable.

Credits are purchased through our payment partner, Dodo Payments. Prices, packs, and taxes are shown at checkout. Except where required by law, all credit purchases are final and non-refundable once credits are delivered to your account.

Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and may not be resold. Unused credits may expire or be forfeited if your account is terminated for cause. We may correct credit balances that were granted in error or through fraud.

You are responsible for any payment method you use and for complying with the payment provider's terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including room names, descriptions, images, and chat messages ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, and create derivative works from that content solely to operate, promote, and improve the Service—including generating AI video clips from your prompts and images.

You represent that you have all rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights.

Public rooms and their chat may be visible to anyone who can access the room. Unlisted ("private") rooms are hidden from the directory but remain accessible via direct link. Do not share sensitive personal information in chat.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post or generate content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, exploitative, or sexually explicit.
  • Upload content depicting child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, graphic violence, terrorism, or cruelty to people or animals.
  • Impersonate others, spam rooms, manipulate viewer counts, or disrupt the Service.
  • Attempt to bypass moderation, scrape the Service at scale, reverse engineer our systems, or probe for vulnerabilities.
  • Use the Service to train competing models or harvest outputs for unrelated commercial datasets without our written permission.
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others.
  • Use bots or automated means to send chat messages or create accounts except through interfaces we explicitly provide.

We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.

8. Moderation

We use automated and manual tools to review uploaded images and chat text before or after publication. Content that violates our policies may be rejected, removed, or result in account action without refund of spent credits.

Moderation is not perfect. We do not guarantee that all harmful content will be blocked, or that lawful content will never be flagged in error. If you believe we made a mistake, contact us at [email protected].

9. AI-generated content

Video clips and other outputs are produced by third-party AI models from your inputs. Outputs may be inaccurate, unexpected, offensive, or similar to other users' generations. You use AI-generated content at your own risk.

We do not warrant that outputs are original, free of third-party rights, suitable for any purpose, or fit for broadcast beyond the Service. You are responsible for how you use, share, or rely on generated media outside VidSlop.

Because generation is probabilistic, we do not guarantee that a specific prompt will produce a particular result, complete on time, or succeed at all. Failed generations may still consume credits or queue capacity depending on when the failure occurs.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including our name, logos, software, and design, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service unless we give you written permission or applicable law allows it.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with sufficient detail for us to evaluate the claim.

11. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as payment processors, cloud storage, authentication providers, and AI APIs. Your use of those features may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Links to external sites are provided for convenience. We do not endorse and are not liable for third-party websites or services.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete rooms you created from your account dashboard. To close your account entirely, contact us at [email protected].

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations incurred, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that generated content will meet your expectations.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms we reference, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Governing law and venue will be determined based on where we operate and where you reside; if those conflict, the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence apply to the extent required by law. Contact us if you need the specific governing jurisdiction for your region.
